Took this at the Luxor while waiting in line to check in. Moments later I slipped a $20 between my passport and credit card and innocently/sheepishly asked if they had any “complimentary upgrades”. This kind of bribe has a name: the Twenty Dollar Trick. It’s actually a thing; there are websites devoted to it. The woman checking us in kind of smiled, gave us a room upgrade (!) but then gave me back my money.

That was my most money moment in Vegas.
